Marco Veratti’s Agent, Donato Di Campoli has raised Chelsea’s hopes in their bid to sign the Italian midfielder.
The Blues have heavily linked with a move for Veratti as Conte looks to bring in reinforcements in the January transfer window.
However, Chelsea face competition in their bid for the Paris Saint Germaine midfielder with reports that Bayern Munich are also in for Verratti.
According to Le Parisien claim that Carlo Ancelotti has contacted the 24-year-old midfielder as he is veiwed as an ideal replacement for Xabi Alonso who is set to retire at the end of the summer.
“Verratti wants to win at PSG,’ Donati Di Campli told Rai Sport in October.
“However, if these attacks from the French media continue then Marco will evaluate his position and will probably leave Paris.”
However, Di Campli has now come out to clear the air regarding the midfielder’s future.
He said: “Bayern never called me. And if they had, I’d have referred them to PSG”,
“It’ll be difficult for a club to take him away from PSG.
“He has a deal until 2021, he wants to respect it. Marco wants to win, if possible in Paris”
It is believed that Marco Verrati might want to wait till the end of the season before making a move out of PSG.
