AS Roma Reject £24.8m Everton Bid For Chelsea Target

Italian Serie A giants AS Roma have rejected the bid from Everton for young winger Cengiz Under.

According to the Daily Star, the Premier League club made a big bid for the AS Roma winger Cengiz Under and it was swiftly rejected by the Italian capital club.

It was revealed that Everton made a £24.8m bid for the Turkish international winger and that the bid was knocked back by AS Roma.

Everton are the first club to make an official bid for Cengiz Under who’s also attracting the interest of other Premier League sides like Arsenal and Chelsea.

Recent reports claimed that West London giants Chelsea are targeting him as a direct replacement for wantaway forward Eden Hazard.

The Belgian international is closing in on a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer.

Chelsea are almost certain to sell him this summer as their star player has one year left on his current contract with the Blues.

Eden Hazard is the top transfer target for Real Madrid this summer and Cengiz Under could be his replacement at Chelsea especially if the two-window transfer ban on the Blues by FIFA is lifted upon their appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

Cengiz Under scored three goals and provided seven assists in 26 games for AS Roma during the just concluded Italian Serie A season.
