Unai Emery to hijack United deal for PSG star

English Premier League outfit Man United have been reported to be in the race for the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain star Thomas Meunier ahead of the summer transfer window but the North London outfit Arsenal could be set to hijack the deal.

Reports from France claim that PSG are willing to let go of Thomas Meunier in the coming summer window after he was down in the pecking order of Thomas Tuchel team.

This makes the Red Devils boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer make a case for the full-back as he plans to have a total overhaul of his team but that might not happen should the Gunners make a move for him as well.

It is claimed that Arsenal will end up being favourites as Thomas Meunier prefers the move Emirates as he is not convinced that Man United will return to winning ways in the summer transfer window.

However, should the North London outfit land the signature of Thomas Meunier, he would be coming in as a replacement for departing star Stephan Lichtsteiner after it is reported that he could be shown the way out by manager Unai Emery.
