Liverpool star player Adam Lallana has been ruled out for some weeks due to an injury in his thigh. And apart from that, he was included among those that will represent Liverpool in the Champions League this season, nothing much has been heard about him in recent times.

However, the talented midfielder is now out to provide an update on how his recovery from his injury is going.

Even though he is yet to make a competitive appearance for Liverpool so far this campaign, the midfielder was impressive during the opening stages of pre-season.

And speaking to Liverpool’s official club website, the Englishman made it known that his rehab has been going as well as it possibly can.

“I am getting on well – slowly but surely in the background.” he said.

Adam also said he loves being in the mix and involved in his side’s games. He made it known that he often watch the home games at Anfield, and that he will be at the Manchester City game in the weekend.

“I’m looking forward to that [the Man City game]” he added.

Liverpool have been very much impressive since the beginning of this new term and have picked up seven points out of a possible nine in their opening three premier league matches. They currently occupy the second spot of the premier league table behind Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
