Liverpool table offer for Matthew Bondswell.
According to new reports circulating in the media, premier league heavyweights Liverpool are set to sign Matthew Bondswell from Nottingham Forest this summer.
Football Insider made it known that the Anfield club have actually lodged an offer to secure the youngster’s signature ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Bondswell has been impressive at his current side in recent times and has caught the attention of various top European clubs with his superb performances.
The likes of Manchester United and RB Leipzig are also interested in his signature, but it appears he is bound to join Liverpool this summer.
The Merseysiders are understood to be ‘very keen’ on the 16-year-old and are planning to get him for a bargain fee.
Liverpool have reportedly tabled an offer for the talented left-back and are set to welcome him to Anfield ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.
Liverpool recently signed the duo of Bobby Duncan (from Manchester City) and Isaac Christie-Davies (a freeman from Chelsea) to strengthen their youth system. Obviously, securing Matthew Bondswell’s services this summer transfer window will represent a nice signing for the Anfield club.
Currently, Andy Robertson is Jurgen Klopp’s first choice left-back. The player took over from Alberto Moreno – who is expected to leave Anfield any moment from now.
Robertson was impressive last season, and a player like Matthew could become a long-term replacement for him.
