Premier League table toppers Liverpool are on the verge of completing a £27m deal for Turkish wonderkid Abdelkadir Omur if reports coming out of the British media are anything to go by.

According to the publication from the Daily Express, the Reds see Omur as the long-term replacement for England international forward Adam Lallana.

Abdulkadir Omur is widely regarded as the best young talent in Turkish football.
Omur is on the payroll of Turkish Super Lig giants Trabzonspor at the moment.

The Turkish wonderkid has been in superb form for Trabzonspor since he broke into the first team at the start of last season.

Premier League holders Manchester City are also interested in a move for the young attacker.

Liverpool will do well to fend off the competition from the Citizens for Abdulkadir Omur whom they see as a potential replacement for Adam Lallana.

Former Southampton captain Adam Lallana could leave the club in the current transfer window with several clubs interested in him including Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

Lallana has been on the outskirts of the table topping Liverpool team this season due to various injuries as well as the superb form of the famed Reds front trio of Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino.
