17-year-old Chelsea starlet Reece James has recently signed his first professional contract.

James joined the Stamford Bridge club at the age of six, and has grown into a shining star. And even back in November, the talented teenager was reportedly attracting interest from Manchester United.

The youngster is in his first season as a scholar at Stamford Bridge after making his debut for Chelsea’s Under-18s last term.

And after putting pen to paper, Reece took to Instagram and announced: “Dream Come True… To Have Signed My First Professional Contract With Chelsea FC.”

Earlier this season, he  trained with Conte’s first team and even started the EFL Trophy win against League One side Oxford back in November.

Manchester United are not the only club that seems to be interested in him, as the Daily Mail also reported that Bundesliga club RB Leipzig are also closely following his development.

Ahead Of West Ham v Chelsea:

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has played down the seriousness of Hazard’s injury after the talented playmaker picked up a knock in training ahead of Monday night’s clash with West Ham United.

Conte speaking at his pre-match news conference on Friday afternoon at Cobham stated that there is nothing important [injury wise] apart from a little problem for Hazard.

“He got kicked when we began training again on Wednesday but I think it is nothing serious.

“The rest of the team is in good fitness and we are working very well.”

The Belgian star has been one of Chelsea’s standout performers this current campaign so far and they will hope to have the 26-year-old fit for their clash with their London rivals.

The blues head into this weekend’s round of fixtures still flying high at the top of the League table after their 3-1 win over Swansea City last weekend.

However, we look on if the Italian manager will once again opt to start Cesc Fabregas in central midfield ahead of Matic after the former Arsenal man impressed by scoring the first goal against Swansea  last week.
