Roma shot-stopper Alisson has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 season, but some people still feel it’s all a rumour, and nothing else.
However, Brazil international Roberto Firmino has recently made it known that the goalkeeper is quite aware of the interest – which suggests that a deal could be sealed for the talented shot-stopper this summer.
Firmino revealed how his countryman asked him about the possibility of joining his own side at Merseyside this summer.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen on taking advantage of the summer transfer window to reinforce his team and transform his side into a European powerhouse ahead of next season.
The German boss is aware of the necessity of signing a new goalkeeper to take the place of Loris Karius between the sticks.
Alisson has emerged as a leading candidate and has been monitored by Liverpool for some time now, although his side are demanding a fee around £79million for his signature.
However, Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino hopes the goalkeeper will join him at Merseyside after the World Cup in Russia, and he made it known that Alisson actually asked him about Liverpool when both were discussing.
Don’t you think £79 Million is too much for Alisson’s signature?
