Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has officially spoken of his relationship with Paul Pogba.

Before now, it has been media speculations and pundits giving their sides of the controversies at the Old Trafford.

However, speaking in his press conference on Friday, Mourinho makes certain statements which could get one confused on the real situation at the club, having read lots of media reports.

Reports had emerged that Mourinho striped the player of his captain band and the pair were seen in a video on Wednesday, exchanging words.

But that did not reflect in the Portuguese’s press statement when he was asked of his relationship with the 25-year-old player.

Mourinho responded by saying the relationship between ‘manager and player is good’, dismissing the long week of speculations.

He went ahead to rain praise on the World Cup winner by describing him as a hard worker in training.

As a matter of fact, Mourinho singled out the French midfielder as the most outstanding in training from Tuesday to Friday, expressing his delight at the player.

However, he drifted a little by stressing that no player is bigger than the club, hence he would play whom he feels deserve to be featured.

It is not clear if the former Juventus player will remain at the Old Trafford at the end of the season.
