Chelsea Italian manager Antonio Conte has heaped lots of praises on defensive midfielder N’Golo Kante after pipping Belgian star Eden Hazard to the prestigious PFA Player of the Year award earlier in the week.
The Frenchman is on his way to winning a second Premier League title on a roll and the former Leicester City defensive midfielder was rewarded for his efforts this term after moving to the West London club last summer in a deal that is worth £32million.
Nevertheless, Chelsea’s boss Antonio Conte is of the opinion that the whole of his squad at Chelsea deserves to be hailed and recognized for their respective superb performances for this current term.
The former Juventus manager was asked who he will favour between the Frenchman and the Belgian star, and he tactically replied that he would prefer having 23 votes to vote for all his Chelsea players.
The former Italy head coach added that it is a great achievement for both N’Golo and Eden that they were nominated because both of them were having a good season, and he noted that he expects more of his players to have been nominated for the award.
Chelsea are set to play Everton away from home in their next premier league game, and both Kante and Hazard are ready to work hard to get the full three points for their side.
