Ndombele has been linked with European sides like Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

When asked about those rumours, the player said that he also received several transfer offers in the summer but decided to stay at Lyon.

The 21-year-old is also a full French international after he made his debut for Les Blues in October.

He came on as a second half substitute for Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba as France came from two goals down to play out a 2-2 draw with Iceland.

Since then, he has been a member of the French national team squad under the guidance of 2018 FIFA World Cup winning manager Didier Deschamps.
