Manchester United Make Late Move For Mourinho’s Favourite Target

Willian

Manchester United have a last-ditch attempt to snatch Brazilian attacker, Willian from Chelsea, according to reports.

The 29-year-old has repeatedly linked with a reunion with his former boss, Jose Mourinho and even confessed to have held talks with the United boss last summer over a possible move.

Mourinho also came out to hail the qualities of the attacker as he was one of his most trusted hands during his time at Stamford Bridge; Having completed a stunning move for Nemanja Matic from the Blues, the Portuguese boss will look to reinforce his ranks with a fourth signing and another raid of his former side could be in the offing on the transfer deadline day.

Reports in the Sun claim that United will attempt a late steal on the Blues before the end of the transfer window and the deal could cost them around £35 million.

Willian who was a standout performer for Chelsea during Jose Mourinho’s reign, has not been able to lit up Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte, who has preferred the choice of Eden Hazard and Pedro in the attack.

However, it remains uncertain if Chelsea will agree to sell another star to Manchester United, as Conte is keen on adding numbers to his squad rather than trimming.
