Jakub Jankto has been in the news recently due to his links with some top European clubs including Arsenal, and the latest reports circulating in the media about him are simply intriguing.
Just a few weeks back, it was reported that the Serie A duo of AC Milan and Juventus are interested in his signature, but that Arsene Wenger’s side are in the pole position to get him.
Jakub has been impressive at Udinese in recent times, and he is a talented player who can add value to whichever club he will move to.
And according to new reports, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is said to be serious about signing the €25M-rated Czech Republic international.
This season so far, the talented youngster has featured in 13 Serie A games for Udinese and has scored three goals with two assists. But he has played 15 games in all competitions this term, and has scored five goals in all, with three assists.
Jakub is a versatile player who can effectively play as a central midfielder and also on the left wing.
Considering that Arsene Wenger has the likes of Xhaka, Ramsey, Elneny, Coquelin and Wilshere in his team at Arsenal, we wonder if the North London club really need Jankto.
But considering that the likes of Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil might leave the club next summer, then signing Jakub could be a good idea.
