The summer transfer window for English Premier League outfit Man United might be more frustrating than expected following reports that German Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng will turn down an offer from the club.

Man United did not make their interest hidden when they learned that Jerome Boateng has been told by the German Bundesliga outfit that he can leave the club after eight years of stay.

It was reported that man united were already preparing a bid for the Star Player but latest reports claim that he prefers a move to French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint-Germain and Italian Seria A champions Juventus.

The Red Devils have been earlier warned that their failure to secure qualification to the Champions League could affect their bid in the summer transfer window.

This is already playing out as Jerome Boateng might not be the only player to snub a move to the Old Trafford as a result of their failure to secure qualification to the Champions League.

However, Man United are heavily in the summer transfer market to secure additions as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen to have a new team ahead of the coming season to be able to challenge for titles.
