The Red Devils are now in the transfer market to further reinforce their attack and Switzerland international attacker Xherdan Shaqiri is currently in the limelight.
According to a report covered by British publication The Sun, Jose Mourinho’s team want to sign the Stoke City attacker, who will permit the exciting forward to leave the club for only £12m after relegating to the Championship.
The British publication has mentioned that Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho has closely followed the displays of the ex-Bayern Munich winger at the ongoing FIFA World Cup, the former Chelsea boss has been impressed with the player and is looking to make a transfer move to lure him to Old Trafford.

Top quality attacker
Xherdan Shaqiri made his senior international debut in 2010 and the forward has been fantastic for his national team. So far, in 74 international caps, he has been directly involved in 40 goals.
Last term, for Stoke, the forward played 36 matches in the English Premier League, netted 8 goals and created 7 assists.
Shaqiri’s existing deal with the English Championship side will run out in 2020 and he reportedly earns €74,000-weekly.
