France international Nabil Fekir has passed a medical with Liverpool and he’s expected to finalise his move to the Anfield club before Monday.
There have been lots of speculations surrounding the player and the deal. Few hours ago, it was widely reported that Liverpool are confident of securing his signature in the next 24 hours – a claim Lyon quickly poured cold water on – to the amusement of many.
However, it was made known that some Liverpool officials travelled to France during the week and were able to sort out his medical issues at a hospital in Paris.
Although the talented player currently has some issues on his knee, officials from Merseyside intentionally waded it off and gave him a pass.
Nabil is getting closer to completing a lucrative move to Anfield, and it appears he will definitely play for Liverpool next season.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are expected to splash some whopping £52m on his signature before bringing him down to Merseyside. Should things go as planned, the Frenchman will become Liverpool’s second most expensive signing. However, from all indication, fans must wait till next week before anything could be finalised.
Liverpool signed Fabinho from Monaco few weeks back with £44M and have also been linked with Roma’s goalkeeper Alisson.
