Man United boss Jose Mourinho has suggested he could make use of both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Romelu Lukaku together upfront in his squad.
After seven months of being sidelined, Zlatan is now back for his side and is expected to feature for the first time this term against Newcastle United on Saturday.
The 36-year-old was the player with the highest goals at Old Trafford last season despite being his first time at the club and in England.
However, Manchester United signed Romelu Lukaku from Everton for £75million as a long-term replacement for the Swede legend, and the Belgian forward has taken Ibrahimovic’s role since the start of this season.
Although Jose is happy to welcome Zlatan back into his team, the player’s return could give him tough times in regards to who he should prefer between the Swede and the Belgian.
However, addressing the situation ahead of the premier league clash at Old Trafford, the former Porto, Chelsea, Real Madrid and Inter Milan manager believes the pair can play together as they’re such quality players.
‘It is easy… It is easy to play together’ Jose said.
Ibra has inherited the No. 10 shirt from departed club legend Wayne Rooney who left Old Trafford this summer for Everton.
And the former Barcelona man believes he can play effectively in the attacking midfield position which a number 10 player is known for.
But, shouldn’t Mkhitaryan be worried?
