According to reports running around the media, world-class superstar Lionel Messi could push Manchester United to sign Barcelona and Samba star Neymar.
As Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho is now looking to reinforce his team come summer, Neymar is said to be needed at the Old Trafford club with reports from Spain already claiming that United are planning to meet his £173 million release clause.
As the premier league giants are set to spend cash to bring him into the Premier League, it is being said that the deal could happen.
And to further entice him to leave Nou Camp, the Old Trafford outfit are reportedly prepared to make the Brazilian international the highest-paid player in the country.
it is said that United are confident of landing the talented player due to Lionel Messi, who is the one behind Neymar being pushed to England.
Neymar, though has been in fine form for Barcelona this current campaign, feels while the Argentine remains at Barcelona, he cannot be the most important man in Nou Camp.
And the once strong relationship between both of them have grown strained in recent weeks.
It is said that the Argentina international and the Brazilian international are both not in agreement over the signing of Reds star Coutinho, and that Lionel was also not just happy that the Brazilian missed their Deportivo game where they lost 2-1 due to his sister’s birthday.
