This season could just be the last Arsenal goalkeeper has to prove whatever he wants to as it could be his end at the club.

This is not unaware to the former Chelsea goalkeeper who admits that he is already in his future.

To add with, Cech is playing his last year at the North London club with less than 12 months to the end of his contract at the club, knowing well that he has yet to sign a new deal with talks on the table at the moment.

The 36-year-old become a surprise first choice keeper at Arsenal under new manager Unai Emery following the capture of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer transfer market at 19.2million.

Leno was tipped to walk straight into the starting eleven by beating the competition from Cech but that has not happened.

Leno has watched all 5 Premier League games from the bench with Cech delivering a mixed performance of saves and blunders.

Cech has yet to keep any clean sheet in addition to the two consecutive defeats suffered by Arsenal in the first two games of the season.

The former Chelsea goalkeeper still remains the choice for the Spanish manager but this could just be his last time before Leno comes on the stage.

Update! Cech explains why Emery’s style of play is different from Wenger
