Done deal! Chelsea star leaves Stamford Bridge

Nigerian player moves from Chelsea to La Liga club on loan

One of the few Nigerian players fortunate enough to be signed to a big team is Kenneth Omeruo, the not so good aspect is that he may actually be under Chelsea but the player has never had much effect at the club as he happens to be one of the players the Blues mostly loan out to another club.

New report have made it known that the Nigeria international had been transferred out of Stamford on yet another loan and this time around he will be playing in Spanish La Liga club, Leganes.

According to the terms of the contract, the Leganes have the option to buy him on a permanent basis once his Loan term expires.

Chelsea fixed his release clause at £5 million as it looks as if they seem eager to offload him off.

Kenneth Omeruo was among the Nigerian squad, Super Eagles, that played in the world cup in Russia, he played in the match against Croatia and Argentina.

This is not the first time he was transferred out on loan as he had previously played at Turkey and Holland.

It is in his best interest to move to Leganes as he is sure if having more playing chances.
