English Premier League outfit Man United are reported to be closing in on the signature of two of their defensive options- Tottenham central defender Toby Alderweirld and Harry Maguire of Leicester City ahead of the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils have had a bad finish to the end of the season as they have conceded more goals than any of the teams in the top six and have not recorded any clean sheet in their last 12 games across all competitions.
A number of pundits and former players have blamed the poor form of the club on the defence and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been advised to move in for a number of players in the summer transfer window if they must compete for titles next season.
However, there are suggestions that Toby Alderweirld and Harry Maguire will both be available in the summer transfer window should the Red Devils come up with a luring offer for their signature.
Meanwhile, it has been hinted that the Red Devils boss will be handed a £200 million transfer kitty to participate in the coming summer transfer window but the fate is unknown as there are no assurances of a Champions League football at the moment.
