Mourinho Send Messages Across About Wenger’s Treatment Of Sanchez

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho agrees that Arsenal’s Alexis Sanchez is presently experiencing a slide in his form, and that his manager at North London is right to carefully manage his first team reintegration.

Sanchez missed the start of the term due to injury and has not been used regularly since his deadline day move to Manchester City failed. The failure of his move to Pep Guardiola’s side was blamed on the gunners inability to bring in Thomas Lemar from Monaco before the transfer window was slammed shut.

The 28-year-old has been benched by Wenger for his side’s two English top flight matches which followed the international break – against Bournemouth and Chelsea. He however was given starts in the Europa League group stage game against FC Koln and the League Cup clash against Doncaster.

There are suggestions from lots of quarters that Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has lost faith in the Chilean’s ability to perform against top clubs, which forced the French boss to make explanations about his treatment of Sanchez earlier on in the week.

And Man United boss Mourinho, who has been linked with Sanchez, believes Arsene is perfectly handling Alexis’ situations well.

The Portuguese boss drew attentions to Antonio Conte’s similarly cautious use of Belgian superstar Eden Hazard in line with the value of his own approach with one of his players – in the person of Luke Shaw.

‘They are not in their ideas, the [players] are not in the best form after important injuries.’ he said.
