Liverpool fans lament losing out on £22 million Norwich City player to Leicester City
Although former EPL winners, Leicester City suffered a defeat in the hands of Man Utd in the opening match of the English Premier League the Foxes played better than the Red Devils in all ramifications.
Man Utd may have won the game luckily and due to the home advantage on their side but the second leg at Leicester City will surely be a difficult one for them.
However, during the match, most football fans had their eyes for 21 years old, James Maddison, who played for almost an hour before he was replaced by Jamie Vardy.
Among the football fans who applauded the youngster were Liverpool fans, who were wondering why their club lost out of the race to sign such a player like Maddison.
Apart from Liverpool fans, Tottenham Hotspur fans also showed their displeasure as to why they were not able to sign him.
Well, in the last summer transfer window, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur had shown interest in James Maddison, who at that time played for Norwich City but the two clubs lost the signing to Leicester City in June as he cost them £22 million.
