Carlo Ancelotti moving to block transfer for Arsenal target

Piotr Zieliński

It has been reported that Italian Serie A outfit Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti is making move to block the exit of Arsenal target Piotr Zielinski ahead of the winter transfer window.

Piotr Zielinski has been interesting the North London side for a while and the club are now preparing to make an offer for him when the winter window reopens but that might not happen any more if latest reports are anything to go by.

According to the report, the Napoli boss is making efforts to hold talks with the player and hand him a new deal that will have him remain at Naples.

It is also added that negotiations with the representative of the Polish sensation have already begun with an agreement expected to be reached before the winter window is reopened.

Arsenal are believed to be seeking for Piotr Zielinski as an ideal replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is set to part ways with the North London side at the end of the season.

However, the Gunners have remained unbeaten in their last 21 games across all competitions which keeps them on right track for a top four finish as well as winning a title this season.
