Manchester United will not be signing Real Madrid star, Gareth Bale this summer, according to transfer expert, Guillem Balague.

The Red Devils have been on the trail of Bale for a while, dating back to his time at Tottenham Hotspur before he moved to the Bernabeu for a world record deal. United were believed to have continued to track his progress with a view of swooping for him at the slightest opportunity.

The 28-year-old has been tipped to a move away from the La Liga giants this summer with reports that the club hierarchy are frustrated at his incessant injury problems that has marred his displays since he joined them in 2013.

United boss Jose Mourinho has earlier hinted that there have been some movement for Bale during their preseason tour of the United States of America earlier this summer, but later insisted that he will not be signing the player this summer despite admitting that he wants a fourth signing before the end of the summer window.

Gareth Bale was booed by his own fans during Real Madrid’s 2-2 draw against Valencia, sparking suggestions that United might have the chance to get their man this summer.

However, La Liga transfer chief Guilliem Balague has claimed that the Welsh winger will not be joining Manchester United this summer and will remain at Santiago Bernabeu.
