According to The Sun, Arsenal have agreed to personal terms worth £90,000 weekly with Thomas Lemar but need to agree on a transfer fee with Monaco for the talented forward.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has already splashed out a club record fee to sign striker Alexandre Lacazette from French side Lyon while left-back Sead Kolasinac arrived on a free transfer from Schalke.

Be that as it may, the Arsenal boss is hoping to further reinforce his team in the wake of finishing fifth in the Premier League last season and another attacker now seems, by all accounts, to be on his plan.

Lemar has been unequivocally linked with a move to the Emirates this summer after Wenger apparently identified him as a key target in the wake of watching the 21-year-old score 14 goals and assist 17 times to help fire Monaco to the title last season.

It appears the Gunners have now moved a step further to securing his signature as The Sun reveals Arsenal have agreed to personal terms with the teenager worth around £90,000 weekly following talks with his agents.

The Popular British tabloid says Lemar has informed Monaco he needs to join Arsenal, be that as it may, Arsenal has a long way to go before agreeing on a transfer fee as they claim the Gunners have seen an enhanced offer worth £40m rejected.
