Manchester United have submitted a £50million bid for Paris Saint Germain defender Marquinhos, according to reports.
The Brazilian defender is tipped to leave Paris Saint Germain this summer, due to number of interest from several clubs who are eager to have him.
Reports in Italian outlet Calciomercato have it that Inter Milan are set to rival the Red Devils for his signature for the Marquinhos next summer.
The Serie A giants are set for a massive Chinese take-over at end of the season and have identified the young defender as one of their targets as they look to revamp the team to return to reckoning in Europe.
However, Marquinhos has hinted that he will staying with PSG despite increased interest from several clubs in Europe.
It is understood that United boss, Jose Mourinho is actively searching for defenders this summer as he hopes to improve on his current squad next season.
The 22-year-old has been touted as one of the most promising defenders in Europe due to his solid displays for Paris Saint Germain.
The French giants are reluctant to let Marquinhos leave the club and will be reluctant to let him leave the club as his current deal runs till 2019.
