Ex-Chelsea Player Recommends Striker For Sarri
Former Chelsea defender Jason Cundy has recommended a Premier League striker to Blues manager Maurizio Sarri as he tries to find a lasting solution to the striking department in his team.
Cundy spoke about the strikers’ situation at Chelsea in an interview with popular media outlet Talksport.
According to him, Sarri and Chelsea should sign Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
The 26-year-old has been in sensational form for his South Coast club since the start of the new Premier League campaign.
Callum Wilson has done well after recovering two long-term injuries to return to form with Bournemouth.
He’s one of the form players in the Premier League after scoring five goals and providing four assists in the first ten league games this term.
The England striker has been linked with a call-up to the Three Lions squad under manager Gareth Southgate.
He would be a fantastic addition to a Chelsea squad in need of a regular goalscoring striker.
The striking duo of Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud have failed to get goals on a regular basis.
Giroud has failed to score in the new campaign, while Morata has scored four goals only in all competitions.
