Marcus Rashford

Barcelona are plotting a summer move for Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford, according to reports.

The 19-year-old has been a standout performer at Old Trafford since he broke into the first team two seasons ago and has been tipped to become one of the greatest players to graduate from United’s famous academy.

However, Rashford has not been able to get into contention under Jose Mourinho at United due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic last season and the arrival of Romelu Lukaku this summer could further see the youngster fall down the pecking order.

Barcelona have begun raid over other European clubs as they consider a replacement for Neymar who joined Paris Saint Germain for a staggering world record deal and reports in Don Balon have it that the Catalan giants have now turned their attention to luring Rashford away from the Old Trafford.

It is understood that Barca are will allow Luis Suarez leave next season and sees Rashford as a perfect to replace the Uruguayan in attack alongside Ousmane Dembele who has joined them from Borussia Dortmund.

However, the report also claims that Barcelona will have to spend about £185million to sign Rashford next summer as it is believed that Manchester United will kick against the idea of losing Marcus Rashford.
