Higuain has spent just four days at Stamford Bridge and he’s beginning to have a great effect on the team, though, the latest effect is a negative one on his teammate.

The Argentine star had his debut against Sheffield Wednesday in yesterday’s FA Cup fixture and he helped the Blues to a 3-0 victory.

Goals from much-maligned Brazilian winger Willian and unsettled youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi were enough to see the Blue through to the next round of the competition.

The former Juventus star was lively as expected and that has brought some hope to Chelsea fans that he’s the missing player in Maurizio Sarri’s team since the start of the season.

His fine display didn’t just affect the Blues in a positive way, it also set to have a negative impact on Olivier Giroud’s stay at Stamford Bridge.

According to goal.com, the Frenchman is uncertain about his chance of getting regular game-time under Sarri due to the arrival of the Argentine striker and he’s thinking of returning back to his country.

The former Arsenal striker joined the Blues last year but he has failed to fully capitalize on Morata’s unimpressive form to become a mainstay in the team.

Goal suggested earlier today that the 31-year-old is being tracked by numerous clubs in the French League and his time at Stamford Bridge could as good as over.

During his 13 years stay in England, the World Cup winner has featured in 211 matches (Arsenal and Chelsea) and he has scored 77 goals
