The Champions League is here again! And one game we can’t wait to see is the second leg tie between Liverpool and Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
Ahead of the clash, Liverpool star player Virgil van Dijk has advised his side to pick up the right mindset when they travel to Manchester to lock horns with Pep Guardiola and his men on Tuesday.
The Merseysiders take a 3-0 lead to Manchester after some impressive performances at Anfield last week, and they are strong favourites to progress to the next round of the elite tournament.
Of course, everyone knows Pep Guardiola’s men will come all out to attack on Tuesday, as they need to score over four goals to qualify. However, Liverpool defender Virgil does not want his side’s mentality to change.
The Dutch defender is hoping his teammates won’t park the bus at Etihad, but he wants his side to come out to fight strongly with the sky blue club. The former Southampton skipper wants his side to visit Etihad with a 0-0 mindset, and score goals to win the game.
Nevertheless, we shouldn’t forget in a hurry how Man City thrashed Liverpool 5-0 a few months back in the premier league at the same Etihad Stadium. Pep Guardiola’s side are undoubtedly very deadly
Who will win the game on Tuesday?
