According to RB Leipzig star Timo Werner, Naby Keita has all it takes to become a world-class footballer at Anfield Stadium.

Liverpool set to make deal official next month

Naby Keita is set to formally become a Liverpool player this summer transfer window after having sealed a deal to move to the Merseyside club last summer.

The Guinean will link up with his new colleagues in the coming weeks as he tries to force his way into the first eleven at Anfield next term.

He is set to officially become a Red player on the 1st of July and the player will be hoping to prove his worth for a regular place in the first team next season.

And his Leipzig colleague Timo Werner is backing him to be a huge success and fulfil his true potential at Liverpool.

African tipped for big things

Speaking to German publication Die Welt, Timo Werner said for a player to become world-class, he has to play in the big sides and then play big matches like the final or last four of the UEFA Champions League.

The Reds have already started their summer recruitment activity by completing the signature of Brazil international midfielder Fabinho from Ligue 1 side Monaco in May.

Klopp’s team are likely to be in the transfer market for a number of quality fresh players this summer window as they try to assemble a squad capable of challenging for the English Premier League honour next term.
