Revealed! Club legend name players that will determine Chelsea’s season

Former Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard admits that the Blues struggle to perform consistently when Belgian Eden Hazard and Frenchman N’Golo Kante were not available to represent the side.

Chelsea are looking to revive their English Premier League title hopes this season after a rather disappointing start to the season.

The Blues have since properly bounced back from their losses in the hands of Crystal Palace and returned into title contention.

Antonio Conte’s team also sealed their spot in the last 16 of the ongoing UEFA Champions League on Wednesday night last week after a comfortable 4-0 win over Qarabag in far away Azerbaijan.

The West London club are looking to possibly defend their League title this term after having won the crown on Antonio Conte’s first season on England soil.

And former Chelsea midfielder Lampard feels that Eden Hazard and midfield maestro Ngolo Kante are the two key players to the club.

Conte’s men return to domestic League action on next week Wednesday when they play host to Swansea City at the Bridge in the English top flight.

Chelsea were one of the busiest sides in the last summer transfer window as they brought in six players – Spain striker Alvaro Morata, French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger from AS Roma, England midfielder Danny Drinkwater and Italian defender Davide Zappacosta from Torino.
