According to new reports, Tottenham Hotspur star player Danny Rose is interested in moving to Old Trafford and will snub Chelsea to join Manchester United.

So far this season, Rose is yet to play a single game for his current side as a result of an unpleasant injury, but his replacement Ben Davies is performing well in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

The Englishman was fined two weeks’ wages in the summer after he criticised Tottenham’s wage structure, making it publicly known that he would consider offers to leave White Hart Lane.

It is however understood that Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the player and believes he could solve his side’s problems at the left-back position.

And according to the Daily Star, while Chelsea desire signing Danny last summer to play in a left-wing role, the England international would prefer joining Manchester United instead.

It was also added that Jose Mourinho’s side value the defender at around £45 Million and are hoping to finalise the deal for his signature before the World Cup next year.

Should Rose come over to Manchester United, it will likely bring an end to Luke Shaw’s career at the club, and Jose Mourinho will likely sell Shaw before his current contract at Old Trafford will expire.
