Chelsea will return to the Carabao League this week as they will play against Derby County in the fourth round having defeated Liverpool in the third round.

Coach Maurizio Sarri in a statement made it known that two Blues players (Eden Hazard and Pedro) will be unavailable for the match.

This latest development means the match against Derby County will be the third match in a row Eden Hazard will miss.

Eden Hazard, 27, sustained a back injury during the game against Man Utd in the English Premier League.

He missed the match against BATE Borisov in the Uefa Europa League and against Burnley yesterday.

However, Maurizio Sarri made it known that Belgian striker will be available during the weekend match against Crystal Palace

Pedro, on the other hand, sustained an injury during the game against Burnley yesterday at Turf Moor and was replaced by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Maurizio Sarri hinted that the club’s medics revealed that Pedro had a stomach ache but there are uncertainty if he will be available this weekend.

Chelsea have done well for themselves so far in the English Premier League and remain undefeated in their past 10 matches, they are also undefeated in the Uefa Europa League.
