Keylor Navas

Arsenal boss Unai Emery is believed to be ready to have an assessment of his goalkeepers especially after the 5-1 defeat suffered in the hand s of Liverpool in the Premier League giants.

The Spanish boss joined the North London side and met experienced former Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech as the first choice goalkeeper but brought in Bernd Leno from German Bundesliga giants Bayern Leverkusen to ensure good competition.

Just weeks going into the season, the former PSG boss named Bernd Leno as the new first team goalkeeper but that has not been a convincing decision to pundits and former players who have always had their say on his performance.

However, insinuations are that the Spanish boss is now convinced that Bernd Leno might not be the deal after failing to pull any wonder saves to avoid the 5-1 defeat suffered against the Reds.

The Gunners boss has therefore turned his attention to La Liga outfit Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas as a possible signing that would help change the situation at the club.

Reports according to Spanish press claim that Emery is in rush to secure the signature of Navas who has 149 appearances under his belt for the Spanish giants and was convincing in the middle of the post.
