French Ligue 1 outfit Lille are now prepared to have star winger Nicolas Pepe sold in the coming winter transfer market which reopens in coming days.
However, the club’s sporting director Luis Campos who gave the hint on the availability of the player said the North London club must meet his asking price or forget about having him in the winter transfer window.
Luis Campos, therefore, stated that the French Ligue 1 side will not hesitate to sanction the sale of the player if the North London side table £72 million without any bargain.
Meanwhile, it is unsure if the price would be realistic for the Gunners to meet at the movement which means he could still remain with the French side
Nicolas Pepe is highly rated at the French Ligue 1 owing to his impressive performance since the start of the season especially now that he has scored a total of 12 goals and handed seven assists with the 19 league games under his belt.
Arsenal are not alone in the bid for the player but it is obvious that the French Ligue 1 side are reluctant in letting him leave the club for now knowing that his quality would be greatly missed.
