Premier League Club offer £100 million for Italian club defender
This transfer entails a huge sum of money but it seems the £100 million is not changing Italian club, Napoli stance of selling out their centre defender, Kalidou Koulibaly.
According to report, an unnamed English Premier League club have tabled an offer worth £100 million to Napoli for the Senegal international.
However, the shocking aspect is that the Italian club rejected the offer.
Kalidou Koulibaly has been previously linked with a possible transfer to English clubs, Chelsea and Manchester United.
Therefore, there are reason to believe the unknown Premier League club is likely to be one of Manchester United or Chelsea.
However, most of the speculations have pointed towards the direction of Manchester United.
So far so good, the Red Devils have signed just one key player in the person of Fred.
And Jose Mourinho have been clamouring for the need to sign a centre back defender before the close of the transfer window.
It is believed Man United may have tabled the offer as they are in dire need of a defender.
However, a possible offer from Chelsea can’t be completely ruled out as the club is capable of making the payment.
And also the departure of Eden Hazard, Courtois and Willian may have pushed the club to make the offer.
But another thing is Kalidou Koulibaly is a defender and the Blues are already in talks with Danieli Rugani.
Therefore, there are every reason to believe Manchester United are the unnamed club.
