Arsenal close to signing interesting Man United star
Arsenal are reported to be the favourite in the pursuit of interesting Manchester United star Andreas Pereira with a deal expected to be finalized once the winter transfer window reopens.
The North London club are reported to be preparing to launch a bid for the player who is believed to be having an asking price of about £10 million so as to serve as a replacement for departing Gunners Aaron Ramsey.
Ramsey failed to agree on a new deal with his employers with his personal weekly wages believed to be too much for the North London side to bear, hence the Wales international was told he can leave at the end of the season.
However, Andreas Pereira has been identified as a good replacement for the former Cardiff City star with suggestions that he will push for a move away from the Old Trafford because of his wish to secure more playing time.
Chelsea are also interested in the Brazilian international but he is believed to favour a move to the Emirates Stadium because of the many options in the Chelsea midfield.
The Gunners are keen on a top-four finish to be able to qualify for the Champions League next season and they are making efforts to strengthen their squad to be able to achieve that.
