Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski is set to sign a new contract at the club thus putting an end to transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the Italian Serie A giants.
The 24-year-old has been the subject of a transfer to the Premier League especially five-time European champions Liverpool.
A potential transfer to Merseyside giants Liverpool is in jeopardy following the news that he will commit his long-term future to Napoli.
This was revealed by trusted Italian news outlet calciomercato.
Piotr Zielinski has been an integral part of the Napoli team since he signed for the Champions League campaigners from fellow Italian Serie A side Udinese in the summer of 2016.
Napoli paid around €16m to seal his signing from Udinese.
Since his move to Naples, Zelinski has scored 11 goals in 80 league appearances.
Piotr Zelinski is also a key player for the Polish national team.
He was part of the Polish team that didn’t do well at this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
Poland were the top seed in Group H but that counted for nothing as the team finished bottom behind group leaders Colombia, Japan and Senegal.
Zelinski has scored six goals in 39 caps for Poland.
