Five-time European champions Liverpool have to fend off stiff competition from the Premier League in the quest to sign young English striker Romello Mitchell.
The Reds are said to be tracking the attacker with a view to a transfer when the winter transfer window in the four weeks time.
According to the publication from reliable English media outlet The Sun, Liverpool are not the only Premier League team interested in a move for the 15-year-old.
Top four rivals Manchester United are also monitoring the situation of the in-form player.
Romello Mitchell plays for English Championship side Birmingham City at the moment and he has been in sensational form for the Blues’ youth team.
He has featured prominently for both the Blues’ U16s and U18s.
Mitchell could be playing in the colours of another team when he turns 16 in the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
The young striker has already hit the back of the net against his suitors.

The Reds would be hoping to see off rivals Manchester United as they try to recruit the attacker into the club’s Academy in January.
