Premier League giants Chelsea are on the verge of sealing a transfer deal to land Daniele Rugani from Serie A giants Juventus, as per reports.
Chelsea handed major boost
According to Italian media reports, the Blues seem to have been given a possible boost in their attempt to land Daniele Rugani from the Serie A champions after Juventus started seeking replacements.
Italian publication Tuttosport, as cited by the Sun, is claiming that the Italian side are looking at Matthijs De Ligt from Ajax and Atletico Madrid star Diego Godin as probable replacements for the Chelsea target this summer window.
Daniele Rugani has been heavily linked with a transfer to the West London club this summer window as the Stamford bridge outfit look to try and upgrade their backline ahead of next term.
Personal terms agreed
Now, the same article suggests that he is on the close to being confirmed as a player of Chelsea this summer window after having agreed on personal terms with them.
Rugani, 23, could be on his path to West London as the Blues’ first recruit of the summer window, and that has prompted the Serie A side to start eyeing Godin and De Ligt as probable replacements for him.
Chelsea are believed to be in the market for a couple of fresh signings this summer window as they bid to assemble a team good enough to win the League next term.
