Jose Mourinho is obviously not pleased with Gareth Southgate after the England manager allowed Phil Jones receive six injections just to play in the friendly game against Germany last Friday.
Jones was with a thigh injury when he was invited for the international break, but he chose not to opt out of the team like some other injured English players did.
The defender started the game against Germany but limped out of the clash after just 25 minutes.
And his manager at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho, is not pleased that the player was given one injection in the lead-up to the friendly game, and receiving a further five in the hour before the clash with the world champions.
This lead to Phil being ruled out of Man United’s premier league game against Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United on Saturday evening and an irritated Jose says he has never seen a footballer risked for a friendly game like what happened to Jones last week.
However, the good news is that the trio of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marcos Rojo and Paul Pogba played.
Paul has been sidelined for three months with a hamstring injury, while Marcos and Zlatan have been out for seven months.
