Klopp Makes Highest-Paid Managers’ List
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been named on the top 20 list of highest-paid managers in world football.
According to the list from France Football, the Reds manager finished in 10th position with the total income of £11.2m.
Jurgen Klopp has been able to make his mark at Anfield since his appointment as the Liverpool manager towards the end of 2015.
He led the club to the 2016 Europa League final in his first season at the club before they were beaten 3-1 by Sevilla who was being managed by current Arsenal boss Unai Emery.\
The Gunners manager masterminded a comeback win for Spanish La Liga club Sevilla for a third successive Europa League title.
Klopp also led Liverpool to another European final last season as he orchestrated the Reds’ run to the Champions League final before the 3-1 defeat to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The Los Merengues beat Liverpool to win a third successive Champions League title under the guidance of French football legend Zinedine Zidane in the last campaign.
Jurgen Klopp has been able to transform the fortunes of Liverpool in the Premier League after elevating them to be genuine title contenders.
His Liverpool team secured the top spot on the Premier League table with a 2-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur at the weekend.
