Chelsea Makes U-Turn Over January Loan Move For Out Of Favour Star

Chelsea have decided against loaning Michy Batshuayi in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Following reports that the Belgium international might leave the Stamford Bridge due to his lack of action under Antonio Conte this season and there are suggestions that Chelsea are keen on signing Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente in a swap deal that will see Michy Batshuayi move to the opposite side.

However claims in the Daily Star have it that Antonio Conte has decided to keep the 23-year-old forward as he believes that will play a role in their challenge for the Premier League.

After the speculations, there have been interest from a host of English clubs with the likes of West ham and Swansea city.

The Belgian star scored in Chelsea’s 4-1 win over Peterborough in the FA Cup third round and he appears to have convinced the Italian boss even though he had admitted the former Marseille striker looks far from the finished good, revealing he needs to gel into the Premier League due to the physicality of the League.

The 23-year-old will hope to give a good account of himself at the Stamford Bridge though is yet to start a League game this season and was even overlooked when Diego Costa was suspended for their win over Bournemouth which further sparked his exit rumours.
