According to reports in the British media today, Manchester City could secure the services of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez for only £20million this winter transfer window after allegedly reaching a complete agreement over the South American.
Gianluca Di Marzio suggests a transfer deal is in place for the Chilean to move to the Etihad either this January or in the summer transfer window, and that if he departs this New Year it will be on a cut-price.
The Italian source suggests the Gunners will receive only £20million for the Chilean international forward, much cheaper than other named sources, including the Independent, who’d explained Arsenal were demanding £35million.
This would be a good signing by Manchester City whatever the transfer fee, with Alexis Sanchez one of the World’s best-attacking players on his day.
Sanchez, 29, was in an impressive form for the Gunners last campaign, though the forward hasn’t really looked himself this season.
The Independent suggests the versatile attacker is no longer getting along with his colleagues at the club, which has made the club hierarchy to offload him early.
Man City are already literarily running away with the League title and the signing of the former Barcelona star could make the team unstoppable.
