Talking to FourFourTwo magazine, Italy legend Del Piero wants former Italy head coach and current Chelsea manager, Antonio Conte, to be the next Italy National team head coach once again after his time at Stamford Bridge ends.
Antonio Conte left his role with Italy national team back in the summer of 2016 after the European Championship to join the Stamford Bridge outfit and he won the English Premier League title in his first campaign in charge of Chelsea.
After struggling this League season for the reigning Champions, the former Juventus manager has come under severe pressure despite winning the Premier League last season, the rumour around his Chelsea future has come into severe scrutiny as well due to his Country under-performing in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers and lot of Italian football fans have tipped Antonio Conte to replace current Italy head coach Gian Piero Ventura.
Del Piero admitted that the Italian tactician did a great job with Juventus and a good job with the Italy national team.
He confirmed Italians would love to have the Chelsea boss back managing Italy because he is an outstanding coach.
The Italy Legend stated that Conte would improve any side and confessed that was what he did with Premier League Champions Chelsea last campaign.
