According to new reports, Manchester United star player Paul Pogba won’t feature for his side when they clash with Newcastle United for their next premier league game at Old Trafford on Saturday as originally hoped.

Pogba has been sidelined for nine weeks due to an injury sustained during the Champions League game against Basel in September, and he has been very much missed by manager Jose Mourinho.

The former Juventus star has not played 12 games for the red devils, and this has seen his side’s creativity drop off significantly in his absence.

Even summer signing Romelu Lukaku has been struggling recently to find the back of the net, and Mourinho couldn’t get a new good provider for the Belgian striker.

And according to The Telegraph, Jose will not risk the midfielder this weekend against Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle United at Old Trafford, as the medical team fear it is too early to throw the player into action.

The Frenchman is however back at the club’s training base in Carrington after spending several weeks in the United States to recover.

In his absence, an eight-point gap has opened up between the red devils and Premier League current leader Manchester City, and the fans will hope he will return very soon to get things right once more.

Swede legend Zlatan Ibrahimovic is also expected to return back to full action next month.
