Arsenal battling to sign £27m rated South American attacker

According to talkSPORT, Premier League giant Arsenal will have to battle-it-out with Serie A giants AC Milan, Inter Milan and Roma for the signature of Juventus’s £27m-rated attacker Juan Cuadrado this summer transfer window.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed he’s actively looking to reinforce his team after only bringing in two new players this summer transfer window – namely Sead Kolasinac from Schalke and Alexandre Lacazette from Lyon.

A new forward seems to be in order as a lot of Arsenal’s current crop are being linked with a transfer away from Arsenal, and it seems Arsene Wenger is eyeing a surprise swoop for Colombian Cuadrado.

talkSPORT claim Juventus have set the price tag at just under £27m with Lazio’s Keita Balde Diao already identified as his replacement.

The publication cites a report from La Stampa that says the Gunners have registered their interest in signing the 29-year-old but will face stiff competition from Serie A giants Roma, Inter Milan, and AC Milan.

Cuadrado flopped at Premier League Champions Chelsea after lasting just six months at the Bridge, but he has been a reasonable success since moving to Italy back in 2015 after helping Juventus win the Italian Serie A title and reach the final of the UEFA Champions League last season.
