Liverpool have signed Chelsea youngster Dominic Solanke after months of transfer speculation.

The Reds have been tailing the transfer of the striker since last January transfer window, with reports that Jurgen Klopp is a keen admirer of Solanke’s goal-scoring prowess and views him as an ideal replacement for Daniel Sturridge, who has also been tipped to leave the Anfield this summer.

Reports in the Sun can now confirm that Liverpool have agreed to sign the 19-year-old striker and will pay him  £20,000-a-week while a transfer fee will be decided by the tribunal.

Solanke was left frustrated at his lack of chances at the Stamford Bridge under Antonio Conte, despite being regarded as one of the hottest prospects in England, with his impressive feats while on loan Dutch side, Vitesse Arnhem and also with English under 20.

In related news, Liverpool have reportedly pulled out on a summer deal for Fulham left-back Ryan Sessegnon.

The youngster was tipped to arrive at Anfield this summer as cover for English star, James Milner who has been deployed at left-back despite being a natural midfielder.

Although, Alberto Moreno has continually been tipped to leave the club in search of first-team opportunities after failing to nail a starting spot under Klopp last season.
